It feels like only yesterday that Taiste was founded in 2009. At the same time, so much has happened since then. What started as a small mobile app studio has grown into a digital product agency with 58 employees. Along the way, we’ve been part of digitalizing the Finnish taxi system, helping Suunto design their iconic sports watch interfaces, and serving as the main technology partner for the international fast-food chain Hesburger.
As proud as we are of these achievements, none of it would have been possible without the talented and delightful colleagues and clients we’ve had the privilege of working with. To celebrate this milestone, we’re excited to present T15Y, a documentary series that chronicles the journey of Taiste and its people.
Across three episodes, we hear anecdotes from the founders, as well as past and present employees. Together, they reflect on the company’s pivotal turning points, sharing stories of successes and challenges. These tales create a captivating snapshot of the recent history of the Finnish tech scene—from the post-Nokia mobile app boom to the rise of AI.
